I build, ship, and teach secure systems with stakeholders, investors, and tech-savvy partners.

I help teams understand and build custom software solutions — AI first — that make their business easier, and migrate what they already have to newer systems.

02 — About

Meet your instructor.

Hi, I'm Brandon. I'm very passionate about the things I'm into — software is one of those. I got good enough at it to start charging for it 5 years ago. I've also been solving my own savvy quests since I was a kid, like burning a GTA Vice City ISO to a CD to play it when I was 9. I love people and I love teaching things — I worked as a private tutor for years before that, teaching computer science and music to children and families.

Now I like to build big, secure, custom systems. For the last 5 years I've worked to understand and put together the frontend, the backend, cloud and devops (using plenty of analogies) and now AI — so I can get jobs done for people who need to get fancy. I like to build for the people, so I work with organizations like Studium Club, who treat education as a right. And Element Lane is the name I use for me and the other hard-working people I team up with when we handle larger clients.

I believe technology changes but fundamentals don't — so it's important to understand the language more and more.

I believe it's important to not just consume technology, but to understand how it works and how to create with it. I want to empower you to be a creator — not just a consumer.

I'm based in Dublin, Ireland most of the time, but I'm a big fan of France and the Netherlands — so I move when I can and enjoy it.

My stack and principles.

Short notes on how I think about each layer — not a tool list. If I can talk about it here, I can ship with it.

01

Human Layer & Values

Code is half of it. The other half is listening to stakeholders, explaining trade-offs honestly, and shipping what people actually need — not just what's easy to build. Software with intent, not just output.

02

Full Stack

The whole app — React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Framer Motion on the frontend, with Node.js, Fastify, SQL, and Prisma underneath. Beautiful UI on top, predictable and secure data layers below.

03

Cloud

AWS, Azure, Cloudflare — cloud is fine. The provider follows the problem, not the hype. I migrate legacy workloads and build systems that are cloud-native from day one.

04

Modern DevOps & AI

GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code for reproducibility — environments you can rebuild from scratch. And AI used as a real teammate in the loop, not a demo on top.

Three things that
compound.

Technical depth, modern workflow, and the human skills that turn code into a career.

Full-stack & architecture

Frontend to cloud, end-to-end. Learn to think in systems and make architectural decisions — not just write syntax.

Reason 2

Faster with AI + foundations

AI amplifies engineers who understand what they're reading. Fundamentals first, AI as a partner — because that's where everything is going.

Reason 3

0°

Human skills, not just code

Code gets you hired; people skills get you promoted. Communicating ideas, pitching to stakeholders, explaining trade-offs — the human side of engineering.

Let's talk.

Consulting, builds, or a migration to the cloud — tell me what you're trying to ship and I'll come back with a plan.
